Why we don't process ACH (by choice)

We could offer ACH, but we chose not to, because the system doesn't protect you.

When an ACH payment bounces or is disputed, the customer's bank isn't required to notify the processor. A payment can look settled in your account, then silently reverse weeks later with no alert, no webhook, and no explanation. You're left reconciling a missing balance you already counted as revenue.

With a signed check, your bank notifies you directly when it bounces, you know immediately, and you have legal recourse. With ACH through a third-party processor, that notice may never reach you at all.

So here's what we recommend: collect checks or bank transfers directly through your own bank, and log them in DanceHub for free. You keep full visibility, your bank keeps you informed, and credit/debit cards handle everything else with instant confirmation.
